We will be celebrating the holiday season on Wednesday, 12/23. All plans are nearly finalized and a more formal letter will be sent home either Wednesday or Thursday.
The gist is this: We will meet for lunch with Ms. Lohman’s and Mrs. Kraus’s classes at 12:05 in the All Purpose Room. Mexican food, including tacos, is being provided. We are still waiting on a final cost, though it should be cheap (approx. $2/student).
Following lunch, we will return to our classroom where a Mexican market will be set up. Students will exchange small (and I mean small) gifts with each other.
What students will be providing:
- 22 small gifts for exchange
- these should be both cheap and tiny
- homemade gifts are highly encouraged, e.g., bracelets, paper flowers, etc.
- A basket to collect gifts, able to accommodate 22 small items
- Anything else deemed pertinent, e.g., display for product, rug to set up on, Mexican attire, sombrero, etc.
- A small sum for taco feast (yet to be determined)
Thank you for your continued support. I look forward to seeing all who can attend. ¡Felices Fiestas!
